Common questions about enterprise software development in Canada, ownership after handoff, pricing, private AI, integrations, and whether you need an IT department to run a Teeya build day to day.

Handoff mechanics, timelines, data residency, AI choices, and what happens when something breaks—answered the way Teeya Productions actually delivers.
You do. Teeya Productions builds on infrastructure under your accounts—domain, hosting, database, and related services billed to your company. At handoff, Teeya access is removed. You retain the code, data, credentials, and written manual. There is no Teeya platform fee required to keep the system running.
The build becomes property of that company. You may not clone it for resale or host it as a product for third parties.
If the company is sold and buyers keep using the system inside that company, the structural guarantee still applies. Cloning, hosting for others, or reselling the system as a product remains off-limits.
Most SaaS products rent you seats and modules. Feature roadmaps are theirs, data export is limited, and leaving usually means rebuilding elsewhere. Teeya mirrors your existing screens and terminology so staff are not learning a foreign product—without paying monthly for every module you need.
Tools that cannot be rebuilt (for example payment gateways or social platforms) stay as integrations. Those vendors may still bill you directly; Teeya does not mark them up. The goal is fewer seats and fewer overlapping products, not zero third-party services in every case.
Use the ROI Calculator with your real annual software spend and headcount to compare three-year cost.
You receive a custom written system manual for your build — the full handoff documentation Teeya Productions prepares for every client. It covers what was built, how it works, how to use it day to day, how to maintain it, and how to expand it. That is detailed written instructions for your system, not a generic walkthrough video.
Because we remake what you are already using and your team already knows, there is little training time. You can also have an AI assistant built into the system that gives step-by-step instructions on how to do anything in the app.
The goal is that your team can take over without depending on Teeya Productions to press every button.
No dedicated IT department is required for day-to-day use. Operators work from the written manual; screens mirror the tools your staff already know, under your branding.
Fields, labels, and similar settings that change often can be edited on the screen—no code access required. When a change is saved for the whole team, users are prompted to refresh so the new settings apply.
After-hours requests during the first year can be filed as tickets and picked up in the next live window. Structural failures remain covered for life as described under Security & Compliance.
Yes. Schedule a free live Zoom demonstration from this page. Teeya scopes the demo to your current tools and the gaps you want closed—not a generic tour of another company's build.
The demo is scoped to your business, not a tour of someone else’s system. Source code is not shared in a demo; you are evaluating how your rebuilt experience will feel and fit.
Published tiers on this site are one-time investments: Mobile Application ($2,500 CAD) and System Recreation ($9,000 CAD). Larger or multi-location scopes are quoted after discovery.
Vendor cloud services you choose for hosting, database, or email (for example Vercel, Neon, Resend) bill you directly if you outgrow free tiers — Teeya Productions does not mark those up or take a commission.
Your data stays in accounts and databases you own. Teeya Productions does not use client data to train public AI models.
Access during the build is temporary and removed at handoff. Exact hosting choices are decided with you so credentials and billing stay under your company name.
No. AI is optional at build time and can be added later.
API mode uses a provider you approve (billing under your account). Private mode installs a company-only assistant that answers from your manuals and records—not from a shared public model trained across customers.
Neither mode uses your client data to train public models. Exact provider and residency choices are set in discovery.
Yes, when a clean integration exists. If something must stay separate for now, status and key fields can still surface in the main system so staff are not hopping between five tabs for one answer.
Scope is confirmed during discovery so you know what is connected on day one versus later.
Published Mobile Application scope targets roughly 30 days. System Recreation targets roughly 90 days.
Timelines depend on how quickly you provide access, decisions, brand assets, and data. Larger custom scopes are scheduled after the discovery call.
At delivery you receive multiple copies of the build, plus the written system manual. The live database (Neon) can rewind roughly the last 6 hours on the free tier. The build is also set up to back up your system to File Explorer on a machine you control, and the app includes import and export so you can pull a clean copy of your data.
If something breaks, you restore to the latest good version from those backups. Extra copies we ship can be renamed to the original file name — delete the corrupt file and put the good copy back in its place.
Structural failures are guaranteed for life. When they show up, it is almost always in the first 12 months, which Teeya Productions covers live 7am–7pm, 7 days a week. After those 12 months, support moves to ticket only.
If later you want Teeya Productions again to enhance or expand the system and you do not feel comfortable doing it alone, we can assist — call us directly to discuss those changes. The point of the design is independence: restore and run without needing Teeya Productions or anyone else for day-to-day recovery.
We do not sell a one-size “HIPAA certificate” sticker. We build to your policies and your choices — the rules you give us for access, retention, and how private data must be handled.
Private client information is loaded by you after delivery (for example by CSV import), so Teeya Productions never sees that data during the build. The system is designed so that information stays on your side — private, under your control, and not sitting in our hands.
Formal HIPAA posture still follows your policies, hosting, and vendor BAAs; we scope that with you in discovery and build accordingly.
Expected. Small configuration changes stay on-screen as described above. For larger process redesigns, the manual documents where logic lives and how to extend modules without a full rebuild.
If you prefer Teeya to implement a major expansion, call directly for a scoped change order. Optional follow-on work never reintroduces a platform subscription—each engagement is a defined deliverable.
